Click here to download the nomination form to mail or fax your nomination.   Awards Overview The 2010 Small Business Award nominations are due by December 11, 2009 The Awards offer recognition to smaller companies for their success and contributions to the community The Awards provide the opportunity to showcase indiviudal companies and the story behind their success The Awards promote awareness and visibility of small businesses throughout the Wichita Metro area Business Criteria for Participation Headquartered in Wichita Metro area Employ between 1-25 FTE for Tier One, or 26-100 FTE for Tier Two Have been in business for at least three years Demonstrate a commitment to good business practices Maintain good employee relations Contribute to the community Have primary source of revenues frombusiness operations, rather than grants, donors, or governmental funding.  Not-for-profits may be eligible to apply if they meet this criteria Be a member in good standing of the Wichita Chamber at the time of application Not be in an appointed leadership position on the Chamber's Board of Directors or other directly related position Awards Events Small Business Awards Showcase - March 10, 2010 This late afternoon reception provides a unique venue for all applicants to showcase their business to the Wichita Metro business community.  The top applicants in each tier will be announced as finalists for Small Business of the Year.  Sunrise Scrambler featuring Awards finalists - April 22, 2010 Another great opportunity for exposure, the finalists will each share their business story with the 125+ attendees at the SUnrise Scrambler breakfast.  This is complemented by outstanding coverage in the Business Today section of the Wichita Eagle.  Small Business Awards Luncheon - May 12, 2010 Each finalist will be recognized in a video presentation, and the two Small Businesses fo the Year will be announced.     Directions: Need more information?   If you need more information about this event, please complete the fields below: Your Email Address: Your Name: Question / Comment:   For general inquiries email us at:  info@wichitachamber.org
