Discovery Days Children's Program Date: 12/19/2009 Time: 1:00 PM TO 3:00 PM Event Description: Lively and fun educational program for children 6 to 12 yrs old. Topic and activity with teach children about the traditions of the Christmas holiday. Program includes a condensed museum tour. Pre-registration & payment required to reserve space. Cost is $6 for children if family is a member or $11 for non-members. Adults $8.95 + tax. Parents are not required to stay with their children. Programs taught by the museum's education director. Discounts to DinoKid members. Directions: From I-135 take the W. Kellogg exit and then the Washington exit. Travel north on Washington to Douglas (2 blks). Turn west (left) at the light and then north on Mosely next to Larkspur Restaurant. The museum is on the Farm & Art Market plaza across from the River City Brewery. Plenty of free parking available.
